Q. Do you have to be a member to participate at Western Wings? A. That is a common misconception. No, you DO NOT have to be a member to participate at Western Wings. We have public rates and walk-on programs for all activities. However, you are not afforded any privileges and benefits that are available to Members.

Q. Do you have to have a hunting license to hunt at Western Wings?
A. Yes. Every hunter must have a valid “Idaho Hunting License” to hunt at Western Wings. If you are from out of state, you may buy a “Shooting Preserve Permit” instead. This will save you from purchasing an expensive Non-Resident Hunting License.

Q. What is the minimum age limit at Western Wings?
A. That depends on the person and the activity. If it pertains to hunting, then the answer is 12. All hunters must have a valid hunting license. With other activities, such as Sporting Clays, it is the responsibility of the adult that is with the child to decide if he/she is physically capable of being safe while shooting.

Q. Can I use my own dog?
A. Absolutely. Bring your own or hire one of ours.
